This event occurs in the past North Light Community Center is holding a volunteer work day at Teens 4 Good Farm, located at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education. Teens 4 Good, a project of the Federation of Neighborhood Centers, is a youth-led entrepreneurial farm and nutrition business that transforms vacant lots into urban farms. By helping to prepare the farm for the winter, you will be helping to lay the foundation for another season of improving access to healthy food for communities, creating meaningful jobs for at-risk youth, and empowering youth to become healthy responsible stewards and leaders who give back to their communities.
