Cedars Talks: How the (North)West was Won with Kris Soffa

Come hear the legend and lore behind the creation of The Upper Roxborough Historic District. This multi-part epic has common Wild West themes, such as westward expansion, gorgeous scenery, abundant wildlife and a volunteer posse. A community continually under threat of development took matters into it’s own hands. Come learn how grassroots advocacy efforts paid off to protect and preserve land worth saving.

Space is very limited so registration is recommended to reserve a seat. The Cedars House Café (on Forbidden Drive just below Northwestern Ave at Andorra Rd.). Talks are cancelled if driving conditions are hazardous or if Cedars House Café has to close.
