Wildlife Clinic Open House & Demonstrations
11am-12:30p Saturday February 28, 2015 | The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education |
This event occurs in the past Celebrate the Wildlife Clinic—and the people who make it run. Meet the clinic’s staff and volunteers, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the clinic operates, enjoying a live animal show of creatures rehabilitated by the clinic! We'll also unveil Windows on Wildlife, a new way to learn about the clinic and the animals we treat there. As Center members know so well, our wildlife clinic performs invaluable work as the only full-service wildlife rehabilitation center in a four-county area. Each year, some 3,000 animals pour into the clinic, everything from gray squirrels to rare and endangered species like bald eagles and peregrine falcons. This event is FREE! To comfort our creatures and help us prepare for the coming season, please bring surplus cleaning supplies like paper towels, bleach, trash bags, towels and rags, plus dog and/or cat food. schuylkillcenter.org/blog/event/creature-comfort-a-celebration-of-the-clinic | (215) 482-7300 8480 Hagys Mill Rd Philadelphia, PA 19128 Website  Google Places |
