The Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) invites all of our neighbors and friends to our 9th Annual Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, August 19th on the lawn outside their office in Chestnut Hill from 3 to 6 p.m. The FOW Office is located at 8708 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118. We are directly across the street from the Chestnut Hill Library.

Join us for a lovely afternoon of free ice cream from Bredenbeck's Bakery, live music, nature activities for the whole family with FOW volunteers and the staff from the Wissahickon Environmental Center, and the chance to meet with FOW’s staff and volunteers. Members of the Friends of the Wissahickon are encouraged to wear their FOW t-shirts and hats!
