The Good Raised Up: A Musical Performance and Storytelling

Experience an inspiring story of courage and conviction!
Find Your Instrument, Pennsylvania Girlchoir & Keystone State Boychoir present The Good Raised Up, an original work of “sung story” that recounts a fateful night in the 1850’s when a Quaker family concealed escaped slaves from federal marshals who sought to return them to slavery.

This work was created by storyteller Charlotte Blake-Alston, who will also narrate; as well as the late jazz violinist John Blake Jr. Two performances: 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. RSVP required at info@johnsonhouse.org. FREE TO THE PUBLIC
